Urban Peace Institute and Los Angeles Youth Uprising Coalition (LAYUP) rallied at the Board of Supervisors steps in Grand Park Downtown on Friday, June 4th calling for the Board of Supervisors to keep their commitment to fully fund $75 million towards #YouthJusticeReimagined.

System-Impacted Youth Leaders with LAYUP, Arts and Healing Justice Network, Anti-Recidivism Coalition, and Youth Justice Coalition spoke out, told their stories, and unapologetically urged County Officials to keep their promise and invest in the prosperity, healing, and future of youth lives instead of systems that trap youth of color in cycles of trauma and incarceration.
