San Fernando Gardens Launches Community Safety Partnership

UPI spearheaded the launch of the new Community Safety Partnership site in San Fernando Gardens. This is the first expansion of the Community Safety Partnership initiative into the Valley region and we look forward to supporting its success in reducing violence. UPI trained ten new LAPD officers who are now making a long-term commitment to serving San Fernando Gardens residents and promoting relationship based policing efforts. UPI's trainings connected officers with community residents, service providers, and gang intervention workers to learn how to create safety together.
