Women in Intervention Featured in The Guardian

A recent article and video in The Guardian by Abené Clayton features Urban Peace Institute's Peace Fellow, Claudia Bracho, discussing the vital role of women in intervention. Additionally, Clayton highlighted our Los Angeles Violence Intervention Coalition partner, Tina Padilla, Executive Director of Community Warriors 4 Peace.

“I feel like it took me a long time to get here. Not because I wasn’t ready, but because I wasn’t let in,” Bracho said. “Now I see other women coming up quicker and that’s what I want.”
